Hartland, WI. Rapco, Inc. has received FAA-PMA approval to manufacture replacement
vacuum pumps for
Airborne 211CC, 212CW, 215CC and 216CW. Rapco also has
FAA approved process specification
overhaul authority on all 211CC, 212CW,
215CC and 216CW's.
Rapco has improved the performance of the vacuum pump by redesigning
the cavity with laser precise ports to
provide unmatched airflow. The new
pump also has cooling fins machined into the cavity to offer more surface
area for cooling. Exclusive coating on the cavity reduces vane wear and
operating temperature.
To prevent premature pump damage, a unique inlet screen is provided free
of charge with each pump that fits into
the customers inlet fitting that
prevents particles from entering the pump. To further reduce pump failure,
each pump
is now equipped with an advanced rotor design with a bevel on
the inlet side of each vane to allow those small
particles
that do pass
the screen to go through the system without failing the pump.
