Pneumatic filters
FAA-PMA approved replacements for airborne assemblies
Recommended Replacement Times:
Vacuum Instrument Central Gyro Filters:
Replace Filter at the mandatory 500 hour inspection interval, or per the
type certificated holders recommendation. To ensure long instrument life and dry
air pump life, we recommend changing the filters every 200 hours or annually,
whichever comes first.
Vacuum Relief and Pump Inlet Foam Garter Filters:
Replace at least every 100 flight hours to protect the relief
valve seat and vacuum pump.
Pressure / Vacuum System Inlet Filters:
Replace at least every 200 flight hours or annually, whichever
comes first.
Inline Filters for Pressure Systems:
Replace at least every 200 flight hours or at pump change to
provide a supply of filtered air to the system components
