FAA-PMA approved replacements for airborne assemblies

Recommended Replacement Times:

Vacuum Instrument Central Gyro Filters:
Replace Filter at the mandatory 500 hour inspection interval, or per the type certificated holders recommendation. To ensure long instrument life and dry air pump life, we recommend changing the filters every 200 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Vacuum Relief and Pump Inlet Foam Garter Filters:
Replace at least every 100 flight hours to protect the relief valve seat and vacuum pump.
Pressure / Vacuum System Inlet Filters:
Replace at least every 200 flight hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Inline Filters for Pressure Systems:
Replace at least every 200 flight hours or at pump change to provide a supply of filtered air to the system components

RA1J7-1 Vacuum Instrument Central Gyro Air Filter: 0.3 Micron pleated paper element with two 3/8” installtion tubes.
RAB3-5-1 Vacuum Relief & Pump Inlet Foam Garter Filter: Foam Polyurethane Garter filter. Fits all Airborne Series 133 & 2H3 Regulating Valves.
RAD9-14-5 Replacement element used in Airborne 1J2 Series Inlet Filter (Except 1J2-2).
RAD9-14-3 Replacement element used in Airborne 1J2-2 Inlet Filter.
RAD9-18-1 Replacement element used in RAPCO 1J7-1 Vacuum Instrument Central Gyro Air Filter Assembly.
RA1J4-4 Line Mounted Filter -- 1/2” x 1/2” beaded tube. Overall length 5 3/4” long.
RA1J4-6 Line Mounted Filter -- 5/8” x 5/8” beaded tube. Overall length 6 3/4” long.
RA1J4-7 Line Mounted Filter -- 5/8” x 5/8” beaded tube. Overall length 5 1/2” long.
RA1J10-1 Line Mounted Filter -- 3/8” x 3/8” non-beaded tube. Overall length 5 3/4” long.
