|Bootsaver by RAPCO, is a flexible compound designed for a smooth repair of propeller and airframe de-ice boots. Recommended for holes or leaks of up to 1/8” in diameter, the repair can be smoothed so that it is almost unnoticeable, and more importantly, so it does not disrupt air flow. The product is black in color and comes in a tube with applicators, burnishing board and instructions. Bootsaver air dries to the touch in about an hour with a cure time of 8 to 10 hours at a recommended temperature from 55 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, or 13 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius. It is considered to be a minor repair covered under FAA FAR’s 1.1, 43, 65.85, 65.95, 43.13. The shelf life is one year after opening. It is packaged in a carton that can be shipped by ground in the United States when the supplied label is displayed on the outside of the shipping container.|
