Q3:  Do I need to replace my pneumatic filters when replacing a failed vacuum pump?

A:  Yes, both the garter filter on the regulator, and the central gyro should be replaced.  It is very important, and due to contamination if not replaced, it can actually void the warranty on a new replacement pump.  Information on Rapco filters is available online, or feel free to contact me for information by email using the contact us form, or by phone at 262-367-2292 or 800-527-2726.

Q4:  When replacing my propeller deice brushes, do I have to replace the whole assembly, or can I buy just the carbon brush?

A:  Rapco gives you the choice of purchasing just the carbon brushes, the individual modules, or the entire modular assembly; whichever best suits your needs.  Application and information on Rapco propeller de-ice boots, leads, and brushes can be accessed from our website or you can email me with questions using the contact us form, or call me at 262-367-2292 or 800-527-2726.
