The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has issued an AD (Airworthiness
Directive ) # 98-23-01 that involves
the failure of numerous flexible shear
couplers on Parker Hannifin / Airborne Models 211CC, 211CC-9, 212CW,
215CC,
216CW, etc. vacuum pumps.
Rapco, Inc. overhauls these Airborne vacuum pumps under our FAA &
JAA Approved repair
Station # NE5R064N, FAA Process Spec. # 203-6-1009.
Within this quality process Rapco, Inc. installs all
new FAA Approved wear
components, bushings, internal and external drive components, and a new
flexible shear
coupler manufactured by Rapco, Inc., not Airborne.
